‘Zombieland: Double Tap’ is the second part of the ‘Zombieland’ movie series. It is a zombie-comedy movie released in the year 2019. The film was directed by Rubin Fleischer & produced by Gavin Polone. The movie stars Emma Stone and others in the lead. The total runtime of the movie is 99 minutes, and luckily it was not a flop. The total box office collection was $87 million against its $48 million (approx).
The movie ‘Zombieland’ is about post-Zombie-apocalyptic times. In the first part of the movie, various survivors are introduced to us like Columbus, Tallahassee, Wichita & Little Rock. All these survivors are in the second part of the movie too. The second part’s plot is that the zombies have evolved and some of them have become dangerous. So, in the rest of the story, the group fights the zombies and meet some new survivors.
‘Zombieland‘ is a type of movie you watch when you want to waste your time. Seriously, both of the parts have no meaning, and if you think logically about it, you would like to abuse the movie-makers. If we compare both the parts, you will find that the first one was way better than the sequel. At least, it had a new concept according to that period. If we talk about the script, it feels like it was written by a school student in his pastime. Just random events put together haphazardly.
Although it had some comic elements, you need to have a story too! It’s kind of important, you know. The action scenes were also decent, but the major turnoff was the plot and over-acting by some characters. The unnecessary characters and dialogues can make anyone scorn.
The movie had great potential, but it was ruined by a poor script. I noticed this in the first part of the movie too, the directors overdid some areas. Like in both the parts we can see unnecessary comedy which doesn’t even make you laugh. The movie-makers should rectify their mistakes in the next part if there is. I read other reviews too, and everyone says the same thing,’ Poor Script’, ‘Unnecessary Dialogues’.
‘Zombieland: Double Tap‘ is a disaster movie according to me. I just successfully wasted 99 minutes of my life watching it. I would rate this movie 2 out of 5. And I would not recommend watching this movie. Lastly, I feel sorry for all those who watched this movie in a cinema hall, by spending their money buying tickets.
