I finally watched the Alpha movie starring Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol. I didn’t mean to watch it because of all the reviews but somehow I was in the mood to watch something where I did not have to put in a lot of my mind.
Where the movie just flows, right?
So, I watched it and to be honest I knew the story, thanks to the memes! I already knew what was going to happen but still I watched it and here are a few of my complaints:
- Why so many songs? I remember this one: they had to reach a destination and they had to hike, right? In between that hike they played a whole song. You are going on this mission, focus on that please?
- The over-dramatic thing – they had a cameo of Hrithik Roshan from War. So, this movie is part of the YRF spy universe and he is the main character of the movie ‘War’. The cameo was okay but it could be a little bit more realistic. Why do you have to showcase him as undefeatable/unkillable?
I actually liked some of the fighting scenes. They were pretty well shot but the story could have been way better. Again the same point – make it look more believable, make it look real!
I think Bollywood needs to focus on that. I’m going to give it a 4/10 for story and dialogues, 6/10 for the fight scenes!
