A Look at My Daily Habits…

A look at my daily habits

Habits, by definition, are things you often do without thinking or something that is hard to stop doing.

And I have a lot of habits… though I can’t say if they are ‘good’ habits.

The first thing that comes to mind is thinking.

And, umm, the types I experience.

The number one would be wishful thinking. Some hours of my day are definitely dedicated to me dreaming of a bright future, just sitting and relaxing on a beach while my supposed ‘systems’ make money for me.

And another part of this is ruminating on the past, where I think about my past life, what I did, what all could have been done better, and things like that.

Finally, there is overthinking and analyzing. I overcomplicate even the simplest things.

You know, like, what happens if I don’t close the door before sleeping? Well, the thieves will come. Then they will make me a hostage, and then they’ll torture me to death.

Only to realize nothing like this has ever happened.

Next up in my daily habits would be procrastination.

I delay the very little work I have as of now. This task could be done in one hour, but let’s just skip it… for later, of course.

Enough with the supposedly bad habits. I have good ones too.

I mean, I think they are good.

So, I usually wake up between 7:30 and 8:30 AM, which is far better than my previous 10 o’clock timing.

I am active and connecting with people on LinkedIn almost every day. Reading their posts, networking.

Yeah, it doesn’t have ‘tangible‘ results, as my sister says, but I am sure it will in some time.

I am also mostly active with my WordPress blog, at least for a month now. And yesterday, I decided to post here too. The idea is to improve my writing skills, basically the storytelling part.

And it’s been a few days of actively listening to podcasts, too.

So, yeah, these are my daily habits. They keep on fluctuating, but I have been able to keep one thing consistent this year, which is ‘Reading‘.

And I am happy about it.
