So, finally everyone is gone back to their homes and I finally can sit in peace and think about ‘What the fuck I am doing?’
And a voice comes from inside ‘Why don’t you update your website?’
And so I did!
Since coming back home last year in January (let me think the no of times, I did this) – 4th time!
First, I made this SEO rich website which I thought would rank on SERPs and give me the clients I need. I spent hours over it, literally days in and out. I even made tools in that website – LinkedIn post writer, Summarizer – almost 6 tools on WordPress! God knows, what I was thinking.
Then due to a sudden realization, I thought I need to de-clutter, so I picked the simplest theme I found and removed all the unnecessary posts and made a very simple site that would host my blogs.
It was a part of my “content strategy” I guess. Then in 3-4 months, I deleted that too and moved all those to Substack (which btw you guessed it right, is deleted now)
The next strategy was ‘I should have a landing page only that tells what I do and when someone visits it’ – they exactly know what I offered. Alongside this, I thought of using Medium to write articles to share Insights.
You guessed it right again, I deleted that too yesterday after a 5 minute session with Gemini on how to write for the AI era. As of now, I believe / my current strategy is to write on blog and share on LinkedIn (updated my LinkedIn too btw)
p.s: this was my exact strategy a year ago, what I need is consistency not another “strategy”. But it is what it is ☺
