I was running out of action movies, so I saw this Supergirl movie and I watched it.
So a little background, I have not watched the series, but I had watched the Superman movie that came in with the different Superman, and it was decent enough.
But, I was not aware about the background of this. I think it is a different universe, but it was decent enough.
Supergirl is a cousin of Clark Kent, and I also got to know the story behind Krypton and how it was not destroyed when the core was destroyed, and they survived for a few more years and then died eventually. (Yeah, that was new to me.)
About this movie, the action is good.
Like, the kryptonians are one of the strongest characters in DC right?
But in this movie she has been pushed and punched and everything. So yeah, that is different than what I expected. But eventually… and it was pretty obvious that they would win it because, come on, she is a Kryptonian!
Decent movie. I would rate it a 5.5, and if you have nothing else to watch, you can give it a try!
