Officer on duty is a great thriller on Netflix

So, there I was last night, scrolling through Netflix.

I was really in the mood for an action movie, but you know how it is. I just kept on scrolling, always thinking there might be something even better waiting for me.

I think I’ve almost watched every good action movie on Netflix, I guess.

I mean, I definitely feel like it. Every time I open the app, I swear I can’t find anything I haven’t already seen.

Anyway, I saw this thriller and decided to read a bit more about it.

And, well, one thing I know for sure about South Indian thriller movies is that they are good.

I mean, they literally have the best plots, the best acting, and the most incredible thrill. Just look at movies like ‘Maharaja,’ ‘D16,’ ‘Ratsasan,’ or ‘Jana Gana Mana.’ They are such good thrillers that keep you hooked right to the very end.

And believe me, I’ve just named a few. There are so many more like them.

Bollywood often just copies from them. You know, the big hit Bollywood movies like ‘Drishyam’ are all copies of South Indian films (another rant about Bollywood being a copy machine just slipped out)

Anyways, back to the movie. It was just… wow. I am so happy that I clicked on it.

It’s been so long since I watched something that intense.

The acting was fabulous and the plot was fantastic.

Even the fight scenes felt so real.

And, oh, most importantly, the negative roles were amazingly done. It really felt like the actors lived and breathed those characters.

It’s an amazing thriller, especially if you’re not too sensitive and you love South Indian films.

Till next time, keep watching and keep enjoying.
