So, the meaning of “bother” is to disturb, annoy, or worry somebody.
And yeah, I just realised something weird – I never really look up the meanings of simple words.
Like, if someone asked me the official meaning of “bother”, I’d probably just say, “Umm… bother means to bother, right? Like… bother.”
I don’t know if that makes sense. Maybe it does. Maybe it doesn’t.
Anyway, there are a few things I can confidently say annoy the hell out of me.
I had written them down somewhere, a proper list actually. But right now, I can’t find it. It was pretty comprehensive, to be honest.
So, first and most importantly – I absolutely hate repeating myself.
Like, I explain things calmly, politely, and as clearly as I can. But when someone asks me the same thing again, right after I just explained it… and they even nodded like they understood it… it just drives me mad.
I clench my fist and scream internally. My elder sister does this to me a lot.
Second thing – littering. I get really annoyed when I see someone throw trash around.
I have this habit of keeping wrappers and stuff with me until I find a bin. But when I see people I know littering right in front of me… I do nothing. I stay quiet. (I scream at myself for not saying anything to them at night then.)
These are the two things I can think of right now.
There are many more, though. If a similar prompt pops up again, I’ll make sure to give a full list.
Till then… ba-bye.
