Well, Raid 2 Was Disappointing…

Raid 2 REview

So, I watched Raid 2 yesterday.

Lately, I’ve gotten into this habit of watching one movie every night before sleeping.

Yeah, I know you’re not supposed to stare at a digital screen an hour before bed, but well, it’s something I haven’t been able to avoid for so long… I can’t even remember when I started.

My phone usage has reduced a bit, except for the last few days. I guess I’ll tackle one problem at a time.

Anyways, I was pretty excited about the movie, but honestly, it turned out to be just okayish.

Raid 1 was great. It felt like a new concept, you know? It had a good plot and was a real thriller.

In the second part, it feels like they just tried to reuse the concepts from the first one, which kind of made it predictable.

And the constant references to the first part were, to be honest, a little annoying.

It’s a different story, so why do you have to connect everything? Just to set up the plot for a third movie?

Oh, and the songs! Only Bollywood has this amazing ability to fit songs into a thriller movie.

The story is moving along, the plot is building… and then suddenly there’s a song, completely breaking the flow.

You know, if it had zero songs, no annoying references, and didn’t unnecessarily use characters from the previous part, it could have still worked. The plot itself was decent-ish.

A bit disappointed, to be honest.

I’d rate it a 5 out of 10.

p.s. Movies have always been close to me. I try to write about most of what I watch, and if something really stands out, you’ll definitely get notified in your box (if you subscribe)
