What’s the One Luxury You Can’t Live Without?

Luxury means different things to different people, doesn’t it?

For some, it’s fancy cars, expensive gadgets, or exotic vacations.

But for many, even having two meals a day or a roof over their head is a luxury.

(That really puts things into perspective huh)

I could’ve written about those essentials, and it would’ve become quite emotional—because yes, they are luxuries for so many people.

But for this blog, I’ve chosen something else. Something very common.

Something that’s woven into our daily lives so deeply, we often forget how important it is.

Something we take for granted.

The internet.

Yep. That’s the one luxury I honestly can’t live without.

Without the internet, I feel like half my world just stops functioning.

As I mentioned in a previous blog, I spend around 10 to 12 hours a day in front of a screen.

If you take away the internet, those 10–12 hours would shrink to maybe 20 or 30 minutes.

Because without the internet, what can I even do on those screens?

No writing.
No research.
No doomscrolling.
No watching movies.
No learning new things.
No posting on social media.

Literally nothing comes to mind as I type this.

I recently read somewhere that India is among the top five countries where internet is the cheapest.

Sure it is cheap for me.

But for many people, it’s still expensive.

And for others, it’s an actual luxury—something they don’t get to access every day.

So yeah, the internet is that one luxury I can’t imagine living without.

It’s become a silent companion in everything I do, and without it, my day, my work, and even my thoughts feel incomplete.

(How the heck, would I have shared this without the internet, right?)
